I had my first knee replacement during Covid after a reasonable wait once I was put on the NHS waiting list having reached a satisfactory BMI. I was due to have my second knee replaced about 18 months after my first knee replacement which suited me as I then felt fully recovered from the first replacement. My first date had to be rearranged and I had to postpone the second date as I was struck down by a vomiting and dizzy bug the afternoon before my operation. I finally had the knee replacement a couple of months later. The Fitzwilliam Hospital always treated me with consideration and were always helpful if I needed to contact them although I was an NHS patient.

As I was only at the hospital for something like 30 hours and having had a general anesthetic it is difficult to rate it. I thought everything was fairly good and would go back if I need to.
